Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan Delima (JIKD) does not tolerate plagiarism in any form, including verbatim copying, paraphrasing without appropriate citation, duplicate or redundant publication, and inappropriate reuse of previously published material without proper acknowledgment.

Screening

Submitted manuscripts are subject to textual similarity screening using available similarity-checking services as part of the editorial assessment. The maximum permitted overall similarity index is 30%.

The editor evaluates the similarity report by examining the sources and context of the overlapping text. A similarity score alone does not automatically establish plagiarism. Manuscripts exceeding the permitted threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the nature and extent of the similarities identified.

Handling of Suspected Plagiarism

Before publication: If potential plagiarism or inappropriate text reuse is identified, the editor may request clarification or revisions from the authors. Manuscripts found to contain substantial plagiarism or serious publication ethics violations may be rejected.

After publication: If suspected plagiarism is identified in a published article, the journal investigates the concern based on the available evidence and gives the relevant parties an appropriate opportunity to respond. Depending on the findings and severity of the violation, the journal may publish a correction, issue an expression of concern, or retract the article.

Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence

Authors must comply with JIKD's AI Policy regarding the disclosure and responsible use of generative artificial intelligence tools. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and content of their manuscripts.
